Diving Zenobia, 1997

In 1997 right after my PADI Open Water certification I went with the diveclub to Cyprus to dive Zenobia. Zenobia was a swedish ferry loaded with trailers and trucks which sank on her maiden voyage to Cyprus in 1980 right oof Larnaca's fishing harbour. When it was obvious she was going to sink they dragged her from the harbour into the open sea. She is now lying on the side at a depth from 18- 41 meters.

I was not very experienced when I came to Zenobia first time, but I felt a lot more comfortable when I left some 10 dives later. I took my Deep Diver Specialty and Wreck Diver Specialty at Zenobia.
